The departments of Education, Women and Culture of the City of Eagle, have teamed up to organize a program of joint activities on the occasion of the commemoration of the International Day of the Book, in which different entities and also assist local writers.
The calendar of events, entitled "A sea of ​​letters II", will be held tomorrow Tuesday, April 23, in the Auditorium and Congress Palace "Infanta Elena", under the following program:
At 18'30 hours, will enable a "creative space" in Hall Auditorium, which will be provided with materials for drawing, writing, reading and music, along with exhibitions of rare books.
In addition, there shall be continuous reading of Don Quixote which runs until 22:30 pm.
At 20:00 pm, in Hall Auditorium Alternative, awards of IV School Short Story Contest.
Then, there will be a brief overview of the life and work of the authors aquiline: Rosario Sánchez López, Vicente Pascual Jimenez Sicily Tárraga and Carrasco.
Subsequently, coordinated by the municipal archivist, Josefa Navarro, will perform a tribute to Juan Lloret Gregori which will also include an audio-visual and theatrical reading of one of his works.
Finally, the official historian of the town, Luis Diaz, will lecture on "the origin of printing in Eagles".
In parallel, all day, books will be deposited by different parts of the town, so that whoever finds them can read them and then let them back in their place of origin.
