At 17:00 pm on Tuesday April 30 a call from the Maritime Rescue Tower Cartagena Spanish Red Cross requesting activation Aguilas boat Level B "LS Titania", attached to the Society Maritime Safety Agency (SASEMAR) to assist a ship of 12 meters in length with an important waterway, which was forced to stop their engines running out of government, and that was in front of Calnegre tips, five miles to the east of Cabeza de Cope.
The prevailing easterly storm on the coast convex at the time of the distress call from the vessel concerned greatly hampered rescue efforts, more so when the wind shifted to libeccio further complicating the trailer of it and lasted the relief efforts for about four hours until he could reach safety and firm in the commercial port of Aguilas.
The two crew of damaged ship did not need health care.
