The train station in Eagles last night became a swarm of people, eager to see the first train arriving circulating in its tracks, after completion of the repair and improvement of rail infrastructure lag between Lorca and Aguilas, the which was heavily damaged by torrential rain occurred in September last year.

It is recalled that the work has been executed both in infrastructure (embankments, trenches, bridges and drainage works) and the superstructure (via protection equipment level crossing) and its adequacy in anticipation of future risks from inclement weather.
The most important activities have focused on a total of 16 km of the section Lorca-Eagles (52 km), with repair of the viaduct on the Rambla de Nogalte reconstruction embankment 500 m in the section Almendricos-Eagles, replacing the damaged railway track and installation of new road in the journey affected areas and the restoration of security installations along the way, specifically those relating to the protection level eleven steps that were affected by the storm.
Upon regaining normalcy Wednesday also put up the commuter rail service in Murcia, which railway communication and is total in the town of Aguilas.
