The veteran team of FC A Stassen Luxembourg Red Cross donates 1,000 euros Aguilas Spanish during the course of the football match Rubial friendly in the afternoon of Friday, 10 May.
It is not the first time that athletes carry out this initiative.
Luxembourg players have played during the years 2010, 2011 and this 2013 football games against Eagles FC veterans as backdrop for the delivery of your gift.
If in previous years these resources have been allocated to the neighboring town of Lorca to alleviate as far as possible the situation of those affected by the earthquake, this time, on a proposal from the players aquiline, Spanish Red Cross has been the Eagles Solidarity Cheque target worth 1,000 euros in order to maintain the various Social Intervention Programs Humanitarian Organization held in the city in order to help the disadvantaged and at risk of social exclusion.
The centenary of the football field Rubial Friday afternoon hosted the ceremony for the check, with the presence of the Presidents of the local Red Cross and the Eagles FC, Miguel Molina Sanchez and Daniel Gilé, respectively, and with the Mayor City, Bartolome Hernandez, as witness the joint initiative.
Moments before the match, the players Luxembourg wanted to have a special memory for one of its components, Pascal Kieffer, who died recently in a car accident and that previous editions had traveled with his teammates to the city to participate in this friendly tournament.
