A total of 61 young volunteers from 25 countries in Europe and Asia, which developed in Spain European Voluntary Service projects, meet this week at the youth hostel Calarreona in Aguilas, to showcase their volunteer projects that develop in organizations Spanish host in diverse areas such as social care, culture, civil protection, the environment and development cooperation.
The Director General of Domestic Violence Prevention, Youth, Legal Protection and Juvenile Court, Veronica Lopez, visited the youth during the celebration of this day called 'Intermediate Evaluation Seminar European Voluntary Service (EVS)', included in Youth in Action program, organized by the Spanish National Agency, in collaboration with the Ministry of the Presidency.
Veronica Lopez stressed that this seminar Eagles "aims to create a meeting place for exchange of experiences between volunteers and organizations to solve problems and propose suggestions for improvement among all serve to enhance the reality of the projects."

European Voluntary Service
The European Voluntary Service offers young people aged 18 to 30 years the unique opportunity to improve or acquire skills that foster their personal, educational and professional, as well as to promote social integration and express their personal commitment through its participation in voluntary activities in a foreign country.
Youth can participate in a voluntary service for up to 12 months in a country other than their residence associated with a wide range of activities, such as culture, sports, social care, cultural heritage, arts, civil protection, environment and cooperation development, among others, with the common thread of all of them, intercultural learning dimension.
