The mayor of Eagle, Bartolomé Hernández Giménez, the exhibition opened last night Our Lady Our Lady of Sorrows, part of the program of events for the 50th Anniversary of the Proclamation Canonical as Patroness of the municipality.
The mayor was accompanied by the Councillor for Culture and Heritage, Francisco Miguel Martínez, as well as President of the venerated and Illustrious Brotherhood of Our Lady Our Lady of Sorrows (Pitch Black), José Cáceres, along with other local authorities and citizens who would not miss the opening of this exhibition.
The exhibition will be open until June 2, from 18'30 to 20'00 hours, and in it you can find a wide variety of posters of events related to the patron as well as a chronological journey through time pictures of the Virgin of Sorrows.
One of the most striking sections of this exhibition is that of the groundwater, the oldest of 1925 made in the workshops of White Pass Lorca.
It follows another made in 1960, the workshops Pilar Primo de Rivera of the City of the Sun, and the last of 1993, also held in Lorca, embroidered on Christopher Leal workshop.
The material also includes a watercolor exhibition on the Virgin of Sorrows, painted by artist Zachary Cherry Murcia, which were made 100 numbered and signed prints for sale as well as some historical objects and curious about the cult of the Patroness of Eagles.
