The mayor of Eagle, Bartolomé Hernández Giménez, met this morning with Olympic medalist Francisco Javier Gómez Noya, who after winning the Championship of Spain Aquathlon and Triathlon Cup Team, both races held last weekend at the municipality, the city is still in preparing the Triathlon World Cup to be held next weekend in Madrid.
Accompanied by the Councillor for Sports, Diego Martínez Parra, and the president of the Federation of Murcia Triathlon Valera Diego Calvo, the mayor gave him a plaque, while congratulated him on his success and invited him to continue coming to Eagles for their workouts.
