The classroom culture Cajamurcia last night hosted an interesting conference Cristobal Belda Navarro, Professor of Art History, under the title "Our Lady of Sorrows Sorrowful Eagles and other eighteenth century."
The event, presented by local archaeologist, Juan de Dios Hernández, was attended by the Councillor for Culture and Heritage, Francisco Miguel Martínez, and the president of the Brotherhood of Our Lady Virgin de los Dolores, José Cáceres, along with official chronicler Villa, Luis Diaz, or JP, Domingo López, among other authorities who carefully followed the words of the speaker.
During the talk, Belda said the image of the Virgin of Sorrows Eagles is of high quality and belongs to the school of Murcia sculptor Francisco Salzillo recognized and could have been carried out between 1780 and 1808.
This conference is part of the program of events of the 50th Anniversary of the Proclamation of Canonical Lady of Sorrows as Patroness of Eagles, who this evening will culminate with a Solemn Eucharist, which will be held at 20:00 am in the door of the parish of San José, chaired by Jose Manuel Lorca Planes, Bishop of the Diocese of Cartagena.
