About 60 volunteers belonging to all departments of the Spanish Red Cross Eagles, who have joined fellow Sewer Local Assemblies and Murcia, which have provided health coverage with Basic Life Support ambulances, participated in the coexistence that has developed throughout the weekend.
A meeting organized to strengthen the bonds of friendship and companionship beyond the work performed within the institution, without forgetting the fundamental principles governing Red Cross 150 years.
To do this, and with activities to promote cohesion, as gymkhanas, abseiling, beach volleyball games or walks in the zodiac and canoes have been carried out First Aid workshops or demonstrations of rescues in different situations, in order to strengthen already acquired knowledge to face real interventions that usually attend.
The conference, taking place in the beach of El Salar, have been open to families, friends and even pets of Volunteers, forming a small community that has shared for 48 hours tasks and dismantling the camp, maintenance or cleaning of the environment , among others.
