The mayor of Eagle, Bartolome Hernandez Gimenez, opened last night XXV Socio-Cultural Week of the Third Age, accompanied by the mayor of this area in the Consistory aquiline, Ana Maria Miñarro, and the president of the Municipal Center "Antonio Segura Sicily" , Juana Gonzalez, along with other local authorities.
During his speech, the head of the local executive congratulated everyone for the 25th anniversary of a program that each year brings together dozens of people, with the intention to enjoy a full and varied lineup of events.
Hernandez appealed to the participation, since the schedule of activities will run until next Friday, and encouraged the directors of the Center to continue working for the benefit of the greatest Eagles, always with the Department on Aging.
Meanwhile, Ana Maria Juana Gonzalez Miñarro and invited all citizens to visit the exhibition of crafts that have made partners of the Centre and detailed that Socio-Cultural Week includes: lectures, musical performances, shows, dances, plays and competitions, among other appointments.
The opening session concluded with a lecture by the local police officer, José Antonio García Méndez, about preventing theft, and flamenco singer Fabian concert "The Pinilla" accompanied by guitar "The Harrier".
