In response to a request of the Directors of the Club Nautico de Águilas, Monitors Training Department Spanish Red Cross in the city have come to the center's facilities to run a workshop called "Learning on the Beach".
On this occasion, were about 25 students CEIP Carmen Conde de Leganes in Madrid who attended the briefing.
These workshops are designed by the Training Department of Eagles Spanish Red Cross according to the age of participants, instilling the basics of first aid face to the summer season.
Among them, correctly identifying the color of the signal flags, how to act marine animal bites or as protection from the sun and high temperatures.
It is a curious fact that the College from which the students in Madrid who have attended the workshop, the CEIP Carmen Conde, is named after a poet born in Cartagena, which was the first woman admitted to the Royal Spanish Academy of the language in 1978.
