In the summer of 2013 Eagles return to show solidarity with the Saharawi children and becomes a place of welcome for the group to visit us under the "Holidays in Peace".
After arriving in the town the procession, consisting of the President of the Association of Friends of the Saharawi people, Pedro Costa, children and the host family, was received this morning at the City of Eagle for its first mayor, Bartolome Hernandez Gimenez , accompanied by the Councillor for Social Services, Ana Maria Miñarro.
A total of 8 children have moved from the Tindouf camps in Algeria, to spend two months with us, away from the precarious and unfair situation they are going through.
Of these 3 are boys and 5 girls.
Aquiline association "Friends of the Saharawi people" is shaped by a group of families receiving each year covers children, are a group of neighbors who every summer undertook the task of organizing, in collaboration with the City of Eagle, a varied and extensive program of activities, with the purpose of the stay of the boys in the town is nice and happy.
