The Governing Council has approved an agreement between the Ministry of Education, Training and Employment and the City of Eagle for the creation of an occupational class, for an amount of EUR 76 644, which aims to reduce truancy among secondary school students.
Specifically, Occupations Classrooms are aimed at students 15 to 16 who have a high rate of absenteeism or dropouts.
In these classrooms, a professional team consisting of teachers, educators and technical training, work with these students to meet their educational needs, increase their social skills and teach basic skills to enable further learning a profession.
Most of these students return to education mainly through Initial Vocational Training Program, which makes them the ESO graduate degree or complete their education to join the labor market.
