The mayor of Eagle, Bartolome Hernandez, and the president of the Brotherhood, Domingo Diaz, held a wreath in memory of deceased fishermen.
Last night was ending the program of events, which for two days has been developed in Eagles, to celebrate the feast of the Virgen del Carmen.
A Serenade by Band Musical Patronage Columbine, Masses in honor of the patron saint of fishermen, a popular dance and traditional sea procession, with the participation of different boats of the fishing fleet of the municipality, have formed a cartel of events that has been widely embraced by the public.
One of the most emotional moments of the day was the traditional wreath in memory of the deceased fishermen, made by the mayor of Eagle, Bartolome Hernandez, and the president of the Brotherhood, Domingo Diaz, who as usual put to sea a crown of flowers surrounded by different local authorities and many fishermen and their family members, which completely filled the boat carrying the Virgen del Carmen in his aquiline coast tour.
