This morning they were received in the Consistory aquiline the six candidates who will compete for the title of Queen of the Festival of Eagles 2013, at an official reception to the local chief executive, Bartolomé Hernández Giménez, have been offered by the mayor of Celebration, Clara Valverde and the current Queen, Ana Cegarra.
The ceremony was also attended by various members of the Dragonfly Kreaziones company, responsible for coordinating the gala to be held on Saturday July 27 at Plaza de Antonio Cortijo.
Before reaching this point, the candidates had to pass an initial shortlist of 12 candidates, with a jury appointed by the organization in charge of choosing the six girls who will compete for the coveted title eventually.
They are: Rosa Fernández Fernández, Carmen Soto Santiago, Belkacem Yolanda Fernandez, Diana Garcia Lopez, Maria Isabel Asensio and Karina Muñoz Vera de Haro.
The gala will be inspired this year in nightclubs that appear in classic Hollywood films of the 50s.
The girls will come down by a grand staircase to show off their models in different costumes passes.
The event will also feature the participation of vocalist Nagha, María Jesús Navarro, which will liven up the evening with live performance of classic songs of the era.
The show will include a screening of videos shot with the different participants and performance of the famous singer Manu Tenorio.
The points allowed for advance ticket sales, which are already available as of today, are the Bureau of Tourism and Travel Almeida and the price of seats is 10 € in advance or 12 € at the box office.
The online table reservation for four people, may be performed exclusively in the Tourist Office, at a cost of € 15.
