This past weekend concluded the Gastronomic III Tuna, which took place from 18 to 21 July, organized by the management of the restaurant "Casa Menendez".
The mayor of Eagle, Bartolome Hernandez, presided over the awards ceremony at the social work this establishment awarded each year to different people.
This time, the winners were: Juan Bautista Moreno, former director of Caritas Parish of San Jose, and Jose Ruiz, former pastor of this church and currently stationed in Santiago el Mayor of Totana.
During the ceremony, Bartolome Hernandez was accompanied by Teresa Menendez Baptist Lastra and marriage who runs this eatery specializing in Asturias, who stressed that "these days teach us the many dishes that can be made based on a single product" and that to the owners of Casa Menendez is culture, because for them "no more ties between the peoples of gastronomy".
The event, which included an exhibition of paintings by aquiline Julio Ruiz, ended with remarks by Mayor congratulating the organization and the work awarded for each place in their field.
