The councilman of Culture and Heritage, Francisco Miguel Martínez, accompanied by other local authorities and artist Manuel Coronado, opened last weekend an exhibition of paintings by Javier Parra Garcia, a virtuoso of the brush born August 30, 1994 in Puerto Lumbreras.
The exhibition will be open until August 25, in the Temporary Exhibition Hall Auditorium and Congress Palace "Infanta Elena", the hours of 18-21 hours.
Parra presents a collection of oil paintings, his passion since age 13, which has become his means of expression par excellence.
Despite his young age, this lumbrerense has already received several awards for his art and has exhibited collectively and individually in several municipalities of the Region of Murcia.
In terms of education, currently pursuing studies in Fine Arts at the University of Granada and it is noteworthy that it was one of 35 artists selected to be part of the realism and figuration workshops for painters, taught by the great masters Antonio Lopez and Andrew Garcia, where as he himself describes "learned a lot and met important painters".
