The session aquiline awarded this August one of the last performances that give rise to the opening of the Interpretation Centre of the Sea, a project included in the Tourism Competitiveness Plan "Eagles, sea and fishing" which is being developed in the municipality, through the cooperation agreement signed between the Tourism Institute of Spain (TURESPAÃ'A), the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of the Autonomous Community of Murcia, the City of Eagle and City Tourist Consortium.
Specifically, it is the contract for the execution of the specification that these facilities will provide the necessary supplies for your musealization, worth close to 200,000 euros, which will include 12 tanks (nine of 500 liters, two of 3000 liters and one 30,000 liters), both with native species of the Mediterranean Sea and other areas with wildlife and recreation in different marine ecosystems.
These units are in a municipal building, located in the building "Two Bays", close to Pier Stove, and are topped by a large fishing boat 20 meters long.
Both own boat as the rest of the infrastructure will also museum artifacts, allegorical models harboring different fishing gear, marine species information of our coastline and other content with fisheries and culture of the sea.
Work will begin next September and will run until the end of the year, date in which approximately is scheduled to open to the public.
