The mayor of Celebration, Clara Valverde, and the president of the Federation of Peñas del Carnaval, José Alonso, along with other guests, yesterday inaugurated the photo exhibition contest Carnival 2013, and a sample of the works presented for poster for the 2014 election.
The exhibition will be open until next Sunday, September 1, in time 18-21 pm in the Cultural Hall Cajamurcia, a place in which breathing carnival atmosphere last night, not only for the numerous photographs that capture some of the moments spent the past year for this great party, but because the event was attended by members of different troupes and adult and child characters Carnival.
The photo contest winners will be announced on Friday, at 20:30 pm in those premises, at which time we will know who are the winners in the categories of: parades, carnival night, portrait, workshop , or better creative photo collection.
The exhibition also brings together the 16 papers presented at the 2014 poster contest, elected last August, which was won by the book "Eagles Carnival", the Spaniard Juan Diego Ingelmo Benavente, a design in which blue predominates this coastal municipality and which highlights the picture of an exuberant woman with the backdrop of the fishing harbor and the Castle of San Juan.
