The Sea International University in Eagles resume activity after courses in July and Lecture Series "Watching the Sea", which took place during the month of August, now resumed its activity with the last two this summer, to be held in the month of September.
The tenth edition of the course "Current Issues in vision. Optometric management of ocular pathologies" will be held at the Hotel Puerto Juan Montiel, from 6 to 8 September.
The course is aimed at university eye care professionals and people interested in the subject.
Directed by Norberto López Gil Vicente Antonio Fernández Sánchez, is raised so as to obtain a comprehensive understanding of each of the processes taking place in the vision.
The contents herein are novel, there being no equivalent course characteristics.
Vision is the sense of excellence that provides the most information about the world around us, so it is mandatory to have a good visual health as a prerequisite for a good quality of life.
It is important that ordinary citizens, as the current and future health of vision learn about new techniques, both for analysis, evaluation and correction of different visual dysfunction, which is currently being developed and used.
During program development will be discussed: optical simulations eye after refractive surgery, binocular rivalry of ocular prevention, the advantages and disadvantages of monovision, the protocol to the pediatric population, among other interesting aspects.
They will also have scientific talks, workshops on astronomy and vision, roundtables and final evaluations of the content.
For Eagles educational offerings presented by the University of Murcia, not only promotes the acquisition of new knowledge among students, but also fosters a unique opportunity for students and teachers know the many attractions of the town.
In the specific case of the day, students will visit: the Castle and Archaeological Museum will have a baptism candle and canoe.
