"Non-formal education, health and drugs: methods and methodologies in youth work" is the title of a course of International University Mar-Campus Mare Nostrum to be held in the town of Eagle during the week of 10 to 13 of September.
The course is led by Catalina Guerrero Juan Romera and Roberto Ferri and Consuelo Door Bañón Ortuño, and will be taught by teachers, psychiatrists, social workers and historians, as well as experts in programs in public institutions and social action.
The inaugural lecture, entitled "Non-formal education in youth work", run by Roberto Juan Banon.
The course seeks to address, from the perspective of health, drug prevention, bringing it closer to the different fields of non-formal education with young people.
According to its makers, non-formal education is a necessity in human learning, so you have to develop skills and values ​​that remain throughout the life of the individual.
It is therefore necessary to promote forums where possible exchange experiences, knowledge and concerns in youth work.
The event, whose first edition was held in 2008, with the sponsorship of the National Plan on Drugs, the Foundation for Health Research training and the Region of Murcia and the Ministry of Health, and offers participants the opportunity to access free accommodation hostel Calarreona Eagles.
Students who enroll in it shall be entitled to 2.5 free credits or ECTS-CRAU 1 Credit.
