Secretary of Education PSOE Executive aquiline, Lucia Hernandez, has complained that the cuts in education imposed by the PP government have been an unprecedented decline in the amount that the Ministry of Education grants earmarked for textbooks and materials in primary and secondary school in the Region of Murcia.
Social responsibility has very much appreciated the efforts made by schools and associations of parents of students in many districts, including ours, to encourage reuse systems and distribution of books and school supplies to alleviate this situation.
Hernandez also said that the government can not allow Valcárcel lack of equality in the classroom for economic reasons during the course ahead.
Socialist leader argues that in order to help those families with fewer resources at the beginning of the school year and looking to remedy the budget cuts Popular Party governments, the Regional Government of Murcia has to make an effort to remedy this situation that left the past year many families in need without aid for the purchase of textbooks.
