Involving more than 100 sailors from Spain and Portugal
This morning kicked off the second day of racing catamarans Spain Championship 2013 which is taking place at the Puerto Juan Montiel Eagles.
Testing began at 11 am with winds of between 22-25 knots.
The Race Committee has considered making only two of the three tests planned for the second day due to the wind conditions and sea.
The ratings, after all three tests today are (remembering that wins who gets fewer points):
Class A:
The first three positions are for Abdon Ibález of Valencia and Micky Todd competing for the Region of Murcia, both with 7 points, and Santiago Nieto of Andalusia, with 8 points.
Murcia also emphasize Guevara Juan Antonio Andres goes from ninth to eighth place with 28 points, Virgilio Bermejo happens thirteenth place in the twelfth with 42 points, Mariano Martinez, who passed the fourteenth to thirteenth place also with 42 points , and Angel Fernandez in sixteenth position with 76 points.
Formula 18:
The first three positions are for Antoni Carlos and Fernando Faneco of Portugal, Robert Fijhneer of Valencia and Luis Miguel Santos of Portugal with 7, 10.8 and 11 points respectively.

The first three positions are for Piri and Marc Jovani Rocío with 5 points, Jacobo Miquel and Javier Martinez with 7 points and Hector Sanz with 16 points, all three of the Valencian Community.
Also prominent in fourth position and Murcia Juan Alejandro Barnuevo Barnuevo with 17 points.

The first three positions are for Ascen Roca, Valencia, with 5 points, Alfredo Bernat, in Catalonia, with 10 points, Luis Casas, Madrid, with 11 points.
No Murcia competing in this category.
Eagles, location chosen to celebrate national championship
The Region of Murcia has been the destination of choice in this edition 2013, to celebrate Spain Catamaran Championship.
The Coast Eagles is the point where, from Thursday 26 to Sunday 29 September, more than one hundred fifty boats and sailors from Spain and Portugal will meet in this event, considered the "younger brother" ship model of the current edition of the Copa America.
"Eagle is an ideal spot for water sports by the characteristics of our Sea as weather conditions. The championship, organized by the Sports Boat Juan Montiel and the Royal Spanish Sailing Federation with the collaboration of the National Secretariat of the Class and the Sailing Federation of the Region of Murcia, have nine tests for each vessel which at least two must be completed so that the result is valid for the Championship of Spain.
The official opening will take place at the Marina Juan Montiel Eagles on Thursday and the prizegiving ceremony will take place on Sunday afternoon.
