The Centre for Local Development and Early (CDIAT) Eagles held this October 25th Anniversary.
For this reason, during this week are developing a series of activities that will culminate next weekend with two events that will be held in the Auditorium and Congress Palace "Infanta Elena".
Coinciding with this event, the mayor of Health and Human Services, Ana Maria Miñarro, Department of upon which the said Centre this morning visited their facilities, where it has been shown that daily work develop professionals who work there.
CDIAT The team consists of two psychologists, one speech therapist and physiotherapist, who provide: assessment and diagnosis, and cognitive stimulation, motor intervention, educational psychology, speech therapy, psychological counseling and family intervention, along with other health assistance, educational and social.
Ana Maria Miñarro said the building consisting of: psychological treatment, speech therapy, physical therapy, psychomotor, parents care office and a meeting room.
According Miñarro "is a specially designed for the population served and has the technical and educational material tailored to their needs."
The mayor wanted to emphasize that "early intervention is the set of interventions aimed at children of 0-6 years old, his family and environment, which are intended to give immediate response to temporary or permanent needs presented by children with disorders in their development or who are at risk of suffering ".
These interventions, which should consider the totality of the child, are planned by the team of interdisciplinary orientation.
Throughout these 25 years, has served CDIAT free some 1,200 children and their families, who have come derived from the services: health (paediatrics, neonatology, mental health ...), educational (EOEP, schools, kindergartens ...) , and social (social workers, retail service ...), and at the request of the parents themselves.
The professionals that accompanied the councilor during his visit, explained to the media that early childhood is a time of great brain plasticity, which promotes recovery and organic and functional reorganization, minimizing developmental delays and intervening when there is pathology also in preventing difficulties in children or psychosocial biohazard.
All this, giving a vital importance to family involvement that provides children half healthy emotional emotional and fundamental to the effectiveness of interventions.
The main events of this 25th anniversary will take place on Friday 18 and Sunday October 20 at the Auditorium "Infanta Elena", with free admission, organized by the Association of Parents of CDIAT and the Department of Health and Human Services the City of Eagle, under the following program:
Friday at 19 pm: Round table on which the trajectory of the center treated over the years, with different agents involved in the care of children and their families.
Sunday, at 18 pm: Theatre performance of the play "Once Upon a Time" by local company "Imagine Entertainment".
