During the final plenary session held in the City of Eagle, the City approved a further decrease in the tax rate Tax on Real and Personal Property (IBI) of urban nature.
This is the third consecutive year in which the government team carried out this measure to counteract the rise obliged assessed values ​​had to make the City of Eagle in 2011, a requirement imposed by the Ministry of Finance which depended on the Socialist government at the time.
Thus, in the last three years, the Consistory aquiline has lowered the tax rate of 0'832% placing it where it was in 2011 to 0'680 in which will be placed next year.
This action can be run through negotiations to the mayor of Eagle, Bartolome Hernandez, performed at the time with the land, frontally opposed to a drastic rise in assessed values ​​and achieving a significant reduction on the original proposal, while agreed on a gradual review of these values ​​to ten years, with the aim that the aquiline not have to deal with a vast increase in their tax bill.
