Eagles now houses the First Conference on Coordination geriatric, organized by the Department of Health and Human Services, the Association of Families and Persons with Mental Illness Eagles and Shire (AFEMAC) and the Mental Health Center of the municipality.
It started first thing in the morning, with an opening ceremony by the mayor of the Consistory aquiline, Ana Maria Miñarro, the manager of the Health Area III, Catherine Lawrence, and the deputy director of Mental Health and Psychiatric Care, Carlos Giribert , and run until 14 pm, hosting various presentations and panel discussions that are taking place in the building "The Placetón".
As explained Ana Maria Miñarro, this activity aims to create a meeting place and knowledge, involving professionals from different devices involved in the care of people with severe mental disorders and substance abuse, thereby facilitating comprehensive care coordination and the people with these diseases and their families.
Throughout the morning, go through this conference representatives of groups: AFEMAC, Center for Women, Eagles Down, Alzheimer Occupational Center "Urci" Social Services, Assertive Community Team, IMAS, Mental Health Centre (URA) , NYPACOLD, PCES, 061, San Francisco hospice and Railway Pensioners, UHP Rafael Mendez Hospital and Health Centers Eagles.
