The head of the Department of Women in the Consistory aquiline, María Martínez Sponsorship and municipal technician this area, Antonia Reche, this morning presented the schedule of events that has coordinated the City of Eagle to commemorate the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women.
The first events will take place on Monday, coinciding with the day set by the UN to raise public awareness to this problem, but the program will run until December 5, under the following content:
Monday, November 25:
From 10:30 to 13 hours, the Municipal Women's Center will install a Fact Table in the Plaza of Spain, where they will announce the resources that currently has to deal with gender violence and solidarity ties are dealt.
At 19:30 pm in the Auditorium and Congress Centre "Infanta Elena", with the presence of local authorities, conducted an institutional reading manifesto, in which women participate as part of different groups of municipality.
Subsequently, the local company "Imagine Entertainment" represent the play "Pepin" based on texts aquiline writer Juan Lloret Gregori published in 1902.
On 26, 27 and 28 November:
In different schools of the town, sixth grade students will attend Education adaptation of the play "Pepin" performed by local company "Imagine Entertainment".
Wednesday, November 27:
At 12 am in the Plenary Hall of the City of Eagle, the Local Coordination Committee Against Gender Violence is established.
At 17:30 pm in the Auditorium and Congress Centre "Infanta Elena" will be a round table, organized in collaboration with the Murcia Federation of Housewives, Consumers and Users "Thader Consumption" and under the title "Reality of Gender Violence in Older Women", with the participation of: Veronica Lopez, Director General of Prevention of Domestic Violence, Youth, Legal Protection and Juvenile Court, Cristina García, head of the Coordination Unit Violence Against Women of the Government Delegation in Murcia, and Mary Sponsorship Martinez, mayor of Finance, Personnel and Women's Hall of Eagles, along with representatives of the Civil Guard.
Will be moderated by Catherine Garcia, president of the Association of Housewives, Consumers and Users "Lady of Sorrows" Eagles, and will feature the group's performance "Alma Mater".
Until December 5
Students in third and fourth of Secondary Education, the various schools in the municipality, in their respective institutes attended the screenings of short films awarded at the "Short with Violence" contest, sponsored in previous years by the Department of Women's City of Eagle.
