The PSOE regional deputy, Mari Carmen Moreno, said that thousands of citizens using the commuter rail line between Aguilas and Lorca, students and workers who have to travel between the two cities that come claiming a convenient transportation, with more frequencies on routes and faster.
Therefore, Moreno has filed a motion in the Regional Assembly which requested the urgent need to expand hours back and forth in this way, adding at least one train that departed at 9 am and return at 20:30 evening, as well as the renovation of existing rolling stock to avoid repeated outages that occur due to age.
In the latter, as he highlighted the deputy, "the obsolescence of machines covering said line very serious affects how they see travelers delayed his trip in hours, having to travel by bus the rest of the way."
The socialist leader has claimed that "it is intolerable that these situations occur and when you consider the poor service schedules and rail infrastructure that already has this line."
