The Consistory aquiline formed this morning the Local Coordination Committee Against Gender Violence, during a ceremony that was presided over by the mayor of Eagle, Bartolomé Hernández, and also attended by the Director General on the Prevention of Domestic Violence, Youth, Legal Protection and Juvenile Court, Veronica Lopez.
Was created at the request of the council of Women, Maria Patrocinio Martinez, born with the aim of promoting and implementing actions to the provision of services specifically targeting women, in order to promote the principle of equality and perform actions and programs for the prevention and eradication of violence against women and improve care for victims.
The integrated members of different organizations and municipal and regional institutions: City Hall, Police, Local Police, Comprehensive Care Center for Women, Social Services, Education Centers Elementary and Secondary SEF, mental health centers and primary care and general management Prevention of Domestic Violence, Youth, Legal Protection and Juvenile Court.
During the ceremony, the local chief executive said that "this initiative the City of Eagle seeks to encourage coordination of actions, actors and resources, influence the early detection of cases of abuse, provide care and rapid response to victims of GBV and enhance your protection as well as inform and educate professionals and the general public on this issue. "
