Next Thursday, December 5, at 21 am, the Auditorium and Congress Centre "Infanta Elena" get famous violinist Ara Malikian, which will give a unique concert framed in her "From Bach To Radiohead".
Malikian Ara is one of the most brilliant and expressive violinists of his generation, with international recognition and prestige.
His inexhaustible musical and human concern has led to further their own Armenian roots and assimilate the music of other cultures of the Middle East (Arab and Jewish), Central Europe (Roma and kletzmer), Argentina (tango) and Spain (Flemish).
All this in a very personal language in which shake hands rhythmic and emotional strength of these tunes with virtuosity and expressiveness of the great European classical tradition.
In this event, the violinist will be accompanied by musicians Juan Francisco Padilla (guitar and baroque lute) and Ruben Rubio (guitar and viola da gamba), which will offer a tour: Bach, LeClair, Arvo Part, Tom Waits, Radiohead, Björk or Frank Zappa, capturing the similarities between different styles and genres.
To do this, will approach artists and composers, in different times and places, were transitional figures, visionaries and creators of school, regardless of origin or classic pop.
"From Bach To Radiohead" comes with the purpose of abolishing the traditional elitist distinction between classical and popular music, trying, through interpretation, show that music is always a necessary art, regardless of its origin and purpose.
