The mayor of Eagle, Bartolomé Hernández Giménez, accompanied by several councilors of the municipal government, paid a visit to institutionalize the Port Authority of Cartagena, invited by the agency, with the intention to learn about its operation.
Adrian Angel Viudes, president of the Port Authority of Cartagena, was responsible for receiving and guiding the aquiline entourage during his tour of the various departments.
An audio-visual lecture on the "Past, present and future of the Port of Cartagena", followed by a visit to the dock then took place.
After the meeting, the local chief executive expressed his appreciation to the Port Authority for the invitation, while praised the quality of facilities and operations, stressing that "despite the current economic situation, the Port of Cartagena seen growing transit of goods annually. "
Finally, Bartolomé Hernández said "Eagles is currently a fishing port, but it was too commercial" and did not rule out the possibility of coming to do any joint action.
