On the occasion of Christmas and Reyes Eagles Caritas has organized a Special Food Collection Campaign, which aims to help the poorest families, especially in these special days.
Therefore last weekend's activities began with "Operation Kilo".
So we want to thank the Musical Association of San Pedro Apostle Eagles, organizer of the event, which brought together bands of drums and bugles of different localities Murcia and Almeria.
Entry was supportive.
It has also taken place a donation from a trader Weekly Market, a manufacturer of nougat, a resident of the city of Caravaca de la Cruz "Turronería Soria Santillana" that gave more than 50 kilos of Christmas candy.
Similarly is already making food collection centers in the town.
This started yesterday at the Colegio Carlos V, thanks to the indispensable collaboration of the families of the students.
The Centre has shown, once again, his sympathetic side, showing that this is concienciada educational community with the reality of socially needy.
Caritas staff explained to the students the meaning of these actions in order to achieve inculcate the values ​​of solidarity and social commitment.
Salvador Hernandez, director of Caritas, want to give special thanks to Carlos V Cloister way "this is the first school in which we collect food and have started a coordination work with other schools to promote this charitable campaign".

This Sunday, December 22, at 10 am, on the occasion of Christmas Fun Run "Subida al Castillo", the Municipal Sports Board and the Sports Department of the City of Eagle, have given a charitable nature of evidence and to remove the dorsal riders will have to deliver a kilo of food.
Also Sunday, between 11 am and 18 pm in the Plaza of Spain, opposite the Parish of San José, organized by the Brotherhood of Our Lady of Rocio Eagles, will be a charity collection of nonperishable food.
Caritas Eagles make possible a group of volunteers and professionals who are at the service of charity and of our brothers, guiding only by love for our neighbors, consistent with the love of Christ.
