The Department of Consumer Affairs of the City of Eagle begin next Tuesday, Jan. 7, an information campaign on the sales, in which a number of tips to keep in mind given by the citizens.
The incumbent mayor of this area, Ana María Miñarro, aquiline encouraged to make their purchases in the shops in town, while consumers recalled that during the sales period, have the same obligations and rights the rest of the year.
Some of the messages in that campaign are:
Both price lowered as above must appear on the label.
Keep the receipt or bill of sale as security for a possible return or complaint.
Establishments that allow credit card payments for the remainder of the year, are required to do so in sales time without charge on the price.
Items have to be seasonal and may not have been manufactured exclusively for this period.
Miñarro was keen to stress that, in any anomaly, citizens can go to the Municipal Office of Consumer Information (OMIC), located on the ground floor of "The Placetón", or call 968 413 661.
