After a stint in the Auditorium and Congress Centre "Infanta Elena", the exhibition "Graphic Work" by the artist Gloria Diaz exhibited from today at the Sala Manuel Coronado of the House of Culture "Francisco Rabal", where it will remain until the end of January.
The public success that has earned this show has been one of the reasons why the Department of Culture has decided to keep at Eagles, which will be open Monday through Friday, 18 to 21 hours.
The exhibition includes some 70 works, focusing on prints and with very different themes: astrolabes, erotic drawings, velajes, salt and finally "timeless Rebeca" a series of 36 works with mannequins and corsets as protagonists.
Gloria Diaz has a degree in Fine Arts and was a professor of Drawing and Pictorial Art Research at the University of La Laguna.
He was also director of the School of Art and Design in Santa Cruz de Tenerife and in 1993 he became professor in the discipline of artistic drawing, issued by the Ministry of Education, Government of the Canary Islands.
