The municipal government spokesman Eagles, Diego Martínez Parra, this morning denied allegations yesterday that object, by the socialist deputy spokesman, Tom Consentino, where this claimed to have put a lawsuit against him for a possible crime of trespass in the construction of niches in the cemetery, being the work performed without budget provision.
Martínez Parra was emphatic in stating that, first, today those jobs have the appropriate budget provision, and, secondly, the reason for having done urgently is due to report in November last year, in which the head of negotiated cemetery showed that there were only 17 niches to respond to deaths that took place in Águilas, so urged to undertake the construction of new graves, said former councilman.
The spokesman stressed that "the law provides for emergencies and in the case of minor works contracts, the administration to commission a work and pay for the next year."
The appropriation for the work is included in the current budget and therefore, "the only thing that has made the Consistory aquiline is acting responsibly to meet the needs of the citizens of Eagle," said Martínez Parra.
