The House of Culture Francisco Rabal last night hosted the opening ceremony of the conference I Against Cancer, organized by the local board of the Spanish Association Against Cancer (AECC), in collaboration with the municipality and aquiline different companies.
The event was chaired by the mayor, Bartolomé Hernández; Councillor for Health, Ana María Miñarro, the president and regional vice president of the AECC, Agustin Navarrete and Manuel Molina, respectively, and the local president of this group, Dolores Pérez.
During the ceremony, matron of honor these days Miñarro Ana Maria, who received the pin association hands Navarrete was named Augustine.
Similarly, the regional president and his namesake in Eagles were presented with individual awards for his work at the head of these groups.
Following the words of the mayor of Eagle, Bartolomé Hernández, in which he stressed the importance of communication to society that "we must all contribute to the fight against this disease," these went to the exhibition hall of the building, which was inaugurated an example of the work done by the "Long x Living" group, which will be open until Sunday, the hours of 18 to 20 hours.
The activities will continue until February 9, hosting: school essay contests, conferences, solidarity rakes or children's fashion parade to benefit the association, among other events.
