Under the theme "Cancer can be overcome" and coinciding with the celebration of World Day of the disease, the House of Culture Francisco Rabal hosted yesterday afternoon in the awards of V School Writing Contest.

The event is framed within the First Conference "Eagle Against Cancer", organized by the local board of the Spanish Association Against Cancer (AECC), in collaboration with the municipality and aquiline different companies.

The event was chaired by Council for Health, Culture and Education of the City of Eagle, Ana M ª Miñarro, Francisco Miguel Martínez and Francisco Clemente, respectively, as well as the president and treasurer of the local board of the AECC, Dolores Perez and Fina Lopez.

The winners in this competition were:

First prize: Felipe Ruiz Romera, CEIP "Urci".

Second prize: Neiva López Ramírez, CEIP "Joaquín Shopkeeper".

Third prize: Nieto Antonia Rubio, CEIP "Ramón y Cajal".

Second prize: Rocío Martínez Moreno, CEIP "Joaquín Shopkeeper".

Second prize: Natalia García Hernández, CEIP "Las Lomas".

Second prize: Angel Exposito Aguilera, CEIP "Our Lady of Sorrows."

Second Prize: Grey Victor Perez, the CEIP "Mediterranean".

Second prize: Javier Hernández Gómez, CEIP "Urci".

Second prize: Paula Robles Segovia, the CER "Mary Immaculate".

The program of activities, which began last Monday, today will continue Wednesday with the celebration of Holy Mass, in the parish of San José, which will take place at 19:30.

On Thursday, at the same time, it will hold a conference-debate in the House of Culture, under the title "Emotional intelligence is health" by the coach Yvan Garcia Conejero.

Events continue throughout the weekend with a dinner of brotherhood, solidarity rakes and children's fashion parade to benefit the association, among other acts.

Similarly, these days you can visit the exhibition of the work done by the "Long x Living," on display at the House of Culture "Francisco Rabal" until next Sunday, the hours of 18 to 20 hours.
