The Councillor for Public Safety of the City of Eagle, Francisco Clemente, made public this the most significant data collecting activities report, 2013, prepared by the Office of Traffic and Signaling of the local police tomorrow.
As they reflected the dossier, made by Sergeant Andrew Lledo, last year 461 vertical signals from different arteries of the city, of which 299 were recycled and placed on a new model of post installed, which meant significant savings for municipal coffers.
Similarly, more than 15 kilometers of road markings were marked on different roads, and 116 crosswalks, stops for 13 disabled and 25 motorcycle parking areas.
Clemente said that there has been significant actions, aimed at improving traffic safety, benefiting drivers and pedestrians.
Have been carried out maintenance work on the existing signage and new signage has been placed in different neighborhoods of the city, responding to neighborhood complaints and internal reports by the local police itself.
Finally, the council wanted to emphasize that there is a timely work, but that the actions in this matter have continuity over time.
Proof of this is that currently are running similar tasks in different ways in the municipality of Águilas.
