With the poster at full capacity and more than 1,500 people, the pavilion "Agustín Muñoz" Gala last night hosted Exchange Powers, the official act that opens the carnival Eagles program.
For nearly four hours, attendees enjoyed a show that started with the entrance to the grounds of the flag of the Federation of Peñas del Carnaval, giving way to children and adults 2013 characters.
Then appeared the Official Ballet and it involved the president of the Federation of Peñas, José Alonso, and the mayor of Eagle, Bartolome Hernandez, who gave the starting signal for a night full of emotions.
The event was wrapped up with the presence of many local authorities and other municipalities, as the mayor of Lorca, Francisco Jodar, as well as representatives of major parties in the Region of Murcia (Peñas vegetable garden, or grouping Sardineros Carthaginians and Romans).
The first awards of the Gala were for 10 years leading troupes parading as "Rock 2004", "The Lovers Chichi" and "Almendriqueña", or 25 in the case of "The Spin", "Mickey Mouse" and " The Mogollon ".
The award "Golden Conch" fell to the Official Ballet of the Federation of Peñas, who received this award in appreciation for the international promotion of Carnival, a task brilliantly developed since its foundation.
Makers were picked different directors this group has had over the years, and Ayala Cati, member of the Federation of Peñas and responsible for coordinating the group.
In this award were followed by the traditional "Masks of Gold", which in this 2014 have gone to: the Voluntary Civil Protection Eugenia de Haro Navarro, Alfonso de la Cruz, Maria Segura Romera and Workshop Costumes Paper .
The hostess, Eva Reverte, had words of remembrance in posthumous tribute to a great carnival, Francisco Ruiz Carmona "The Popeye" an aquiline which he was also awarded at the time the Golden Mask Carnival and always showed his passion for this Fiesta.
After the performance of the famous singer Michael Chacon, infant prominence characters came on stage with the traditional ceremony of transfer of power between the outgoing and incoming, where they were officially appointed:
Children Musson: Juan Pedro Moreno López, of the rock "Matalentisco Boy's" and the school "The Rubial".
Children Doña Cuaresma: Nuria López García, of the rock "Matalentisco Boy's" and the school "Las Lomas".
Don Carnal Children: Francisco Javier Soto Hernández, of the rock "Mickey Mouse" and the school "Mary Immaculate".
Children Musa: Alba Pelegrín Navarro of the rock "Mickey Mouse" and the school "Mediterranean".
The highlight of the evening came with the appointment of the adult characters, who worked and offered some amazing performances.

Dance groups, actors, bands, audiovisuals and endless elements formed part of the Gala, clearly showing an innate originality in the carnival and enabling the Eagles Carnival start in the best way.
Now there are two weeks left, where the city will offer a varied program of events, which will run until March 8, with aquiline and visitors to enjoy a unique show in the world, a Festival of National Tourist Interest sucking to achieve international declaration next year.
