This morning was held the traditional "Weighing" Characters of Carnival, where these representative figures of the largest party in kilos Eagles transform their local produce, thanks to the collaboration of different local companies.
This year, most of the food will be donated to Caritas, as decided by these carnival.
The mayor Bartolome Hernandez, the mayor of Celebration, Clara Valverde, and the president of the Federation of Peñas, José Alonso, accompanied Don Carnal, Doña Cuaresma, the Muse and Musson, in adult and child version during this sympathetic act in which the scale becomes the best ally of the Characters of Carnival.
Don Carnal, José Luis Vera Sendra, received his weight "79 kilos" in tomatoes, courtesy of the company "Expomer".
Doña Cuaresma, Maria Alcaraz Román received his weight "108 kilos" in lettuce, courtesy of the company "Farm 92".
The Muse, Iris Díaz Peña received his weight "64 kilos" in units of seabream and seabass, courtesy of the company "Culmarex".
The Musson, Marina Lopez Asensio, weighing at "86 kilos" received a batch of pickles the company "Agrucapers".
The Characters Children received their weight in mandarin and cherry tomatoes, courtesy of companies "Montecitrus" and "Looije".
