The Councillor for Culture and Heritage, Francisco Miguel Martínez, along with other guests, opened the exhibition "The soul touched" ciezano Semitiel artist José Segura last night.
The exhibition will be open until April 6, in the Auditorium and Congress Centre "Infanta Elena", with opening hours: Tuesday to Sunday, from 18:15 to 21 hours.
The author presents 23 paintings, mixed media, drawn in charcoal on acrylic and acrylic on canvas, in which the naked woman is the only protagonist of this figurative and realistic collection, conducted on large-format media.
It is the first time this renowned painter exhibits his work in the landmark building, but in 2006 participated in a group exhibition held at the House of Culture "Francisco Rabal."
Semitiel began to show its enthusiasm for painting in 1974, although it was in 1999 when he decided to devote more of his intense passion.
Since then, he has made more than 40 solo exhibitions and has participated in hundreds of collective, exhibiting their creations by several countries.
This award-winning artist, forever linked by the feeling that surrounds it, is a professor of drawing and painting Semitiel Art Center, located in his native Cieza.
