Eagles has a new Interpretive Center and Aquarium Sea (31/03/2014)

The city of Eagle has a new Interpretive Center and Aquarium Sea (Cimarron) which is part of the activities of Tourism Competitiveness Plan 'Eagles, Sea and Fisheries', a project funded by the Autonomous Community of the Region Murcia, the Ministry of Industry, Energy and Tourism, the City of Eagle and the European Regional Development Fund.

The Minister of Culture and Tourism, Pedro Alberto Cruz, Secretary of State for Tourism, Isabel Borrego, the government delegate, Joaquín Bascuñana, and mayor of the municipality, Bartolomé Hernández, today inaugurated the space offers visitors know the seafaring culture.

The rooms house a Marine Interpretation Centre, located in a 400 square meters on the Avenida Doctor Barnard, equipped with a permanent exhibition that revolves around the fishing history of the town.

The thread is thematic and is divided by area, hosting a series of paragraphs to interpret its contents: fleet types, gear, variety of catches and their applications in the local cuisine and the typical fisherman's house in the twentieth century, with a strong ethnological, where visitors can see were their homes, their way of life and utensils used on a daily basis.

It also includes educational audiovisual material in which the links sailors of the city, its economic and historical development and current industry is reported.

The infrastructure is designed for visitors to move from those clubs until a boat 20 feet long, which rises above the Aquarium.
