Fifty people participated yesterday in a guided tour of various green areas of the city, organized by the Department of Health to mark World Health Day route.
Attendees toured walk the path that runs between the various places, with the premise of moderate exercise, learn about the flora of the environment and collect some notes on its history.
The mayor of Health, Ana María Miñarro, led the march which was led by the agricultural engineer and specialist gardens, Mateo Hernandez, who was detailing the varieties that prevail in the green spaces of the city, while the journalist Isabel Reverte told her story and revealed some stories about these areas.
The events of World Health Day will continue this afternoon at 19:30 pm at the House of Culture "Francisco Rabal", with the paper "Broccoli, healthy pleasure" by Javier Bernabeu, agronomist and secretary More Broccoli Association.
Similarly, the City of Eagle has convened the First Healthy Recipes Contest with great prizes for the three winners and win a special gift from all those submitted, thereby seeking to raise public awareness about balanced diet as foundation of our health and the benefits of preparing menus that contribute to welfare.
Recipes must be submitted before May 7, in the Department of Health of the Consistory aquiline or via e-mail saludable@outlook.es and the awards ceremony will take place on the 26th of the month, coinciding with World Day Nutrition.
