The local chief executive, Bartolome Hernandez and Councilman Goods and Works, Diego Martínez, presented this morning the planned construction of a large multi-purpose space, which will house surface parking for over three hundred vehicles and a diaphanous ship of 650 meters .
The infrastructure will be located in a municipal plot close to 11,500 meters, located on Calle Juan Pablo II, next to the bus station and railway station, just over five minutes walk from the downtown area of ​​the city.
As indicated by the local authorities, compliance with this performance is given to one of the commitments set forth in the electoral program of the current municipal government, where it was collected to build a surface parking at the place where it will be located.
This initiative will be enhanced with said building a ship that will house public toilets and numerous electrical connection points, intending to mount stands to hold trade shows of different nature, capturing new visitors who come to town to enjoy the exhibition days, while also offering an appropriate room for local groups to develop these activities.
Work has already begun, with a budget of around 500,000 euros, also including asphalt, signage, fencing and lighting around the perimeter, with completion planned works over the next summer.
