As indicated Carrasco, in the whole city have withdrawn 254 720 kilos of garbage, which is an increase of 33,200 kilos over the same period last year, equivalent to an increase of 5,533 persons / day during this long weekend in relation to 2013.
As for waste collection in the beach areas, which traditionally citizens move during the Days of Monas, this year have pulled 30,860 kilos, reaching almost triple the figure for last year was 10,660 kilos.
The mayor noted that the natural areas of Marina de Cope and Four Callas are the most frequented by visitors aquiline and while said that, with some exceptions, citizens have respected these spaces and garbage deposited in containers cleaning company that installed in these areas.
