Councilman Goods and Works, Diego Martínez Parra, has reported that this week will begin the remodeling of the green area and the road stretch Antonio Salas Street, between the intersections of the Immaculate Armando Muñoz Calero arteries, bordering the Rambla del Charco.
As indicated by the mayor, is a defendant acting for the residents of this neighborhood, as the area is quite damaged by the growth of the roots of the surrounding trees, which has led to the sidewalks were lifted, preventing pedestrians passing by this area.
The project includes demolition of the existing curb and sidewalk and implementation of a new curb and paving thereof, removal of the grass between it and the wall of the Rambla del Charco, installation of street lighting, road signs and creation a new green area.
It also includes the refurbishment of the existing garden on the opposite bank of the ravine, situated at Electra.
The work, which cost contract is worth 91,584 euros, will be completed by the end of next May or early June, so the area will be completely remodeled and updated public use before the arrival of the summer, Parra Martínez stressed.
