The new Interpretation Centre Mar-Aquarium (CIMAR) Eagles received only fifteen days in a total of 3,565 visits, said today the mayor of Tourism aquiline Consistory, Clara Valverde.
These facilities, located in Avenida Doctor Barnard (building Two Bays) was inaugurated on 31 March and opened to the public on 4 April, adding to the variety of museums in town, thanks to a project under the Plan Tourism Competitiveness "Eagles, Sea and Fisheries".
Most domestic visitors have been highlighting the Murcia and Madrid, followed by Andalusia and Catalonia.
Internationally, the Germans lead the ranking, followed by British and Belgians.
The busiest days are weekends, standing between them which runs from 17 to 20 April, Holy Thursday to Easter Sunday, with a total of 1,185 people.
These units have opening hours from 10 to 13 and from 17 to 19 hours, except on Mondays, and guided tours every hour visits are made, the first being reserved in the morning for schools.
The rooms house a Marine Interpretation Centre, located in a 400 square meters, equipped with a permanent exhibition that revolves around the fishing history of the town.
