The Department of Culture and the City of Eagle Woman yesterday celebrated World Book Day with a public reading of one of the most important works of world literature "Don Quixote" by Miguel de Cervantes Saavedra.
The event was held in the Exhibition Hall "Manuel Coronado" House of Culture "Francisco Rabal," with the assistance of various local authorities, members of associations and citizens in general, who put voice to some of the exploits of Ingenious Hidalgo.
The mayors of Culture, Women, Youth and Education, Francisco Miguel Martínez, María Martínez Sponsorship, Juan José Asensio and Francisco Clemente, respectively, were responsible for initiating the reading began in the ninth chapter, which concludes the battle the gallant Biscayan and manchego were brave, giving continuity to the texts reported last year, during the first edition of this event which will run in upcoming appointments.
At the end of the act, municipal representatives stressed that this year could mark the International Day of the Book at the right place for it, because since last November, the city has a remodeled House of Culture which houses a magnificent library , making this building in the heart of reading town.
