The Department of Health advises that aquiline Consistory until next May 16 will remain in the town the mobile unit of the regional program of prevention of breast cancer.
It will be located on the street Muñoz Calero, behind the Health Center "Eagles South" with a public opening hours which will run from 8:30 to 14:30, by appointment.
As indicated by the mayor of Health, Ana María Miñarro, this action is developed in collaboration with the Spanish Association Against Cancer and is aimed primarily at women aged between 50 and 69 years.
Miñarro wanted to encourage all women who are in that age range to get a mammogram, since, according to the mayor, this is a quick and simple test that may involve the early detection of a disease treated in time avoid complications .
Finally, the Minister of Health has also recommended conducting this test to women between 45 and 50 who have a family history, since the risk is higher in these patients and prevention is most important in these cases.
