This afternoon took place in the House of Culture 'Francisco Rabal' Eagles, the closing ceremony of the XI edition of the school program 'Coastal Eco-Schools', in which nearly two hundred students from nine schools in the locality.
The event was chaired by the Councillor for Education, Francisco Clemente, and President of the Yacht Club of Eagle, Miguel Lopez, accompanied by the technical director of this entity, Pedro Juan Perez-Castejón, and monitors responsible for teaching these classes and coordinate the different training trips that are made within the year.
Once completed the ceremonial speeches, proceeded to award diplomas to students who have successfully completed this program, an initiative already established within the range of extra-curricular activities of the municipality.
During the closing ceremony, Francisco Clemente noted the high degree of participation each year gets this action, noting that "the City of Eagle and the Yacht Club try to instill in students the importance of appreciating the values ​​that enrich our city, its coastline and diversity. These objectives are achieved through guided by their cultural and natural heritage, complemented by educational activities in the centers visited, "said the mayor of Education.
